On March 5th we will be commemorating 2 years of Hugo Chavez’s sowing. Meanwhile, the Bolivarian Revolution continues to be under attack. The right wing in Venezuela with the support of the U.S. government has launched a campaign of violent protests “guarimbas”, coup attempts, a relentless economic war, media campaign, and U.S. unilateral sanctions against Venezuela to overthrow the democratic government of Nicolas Maduro.

Last year 43 people died in violent anti-government (Guarimbas) protests organized by the opposition and Human Rights Watch has said nothing about the victims.

On April 15, 2013 after learning the results of the presidential elections, the opposition leader Henrique Capriles, ignoring the election results call all his followers to “Drain the Outrage” as result 11 Venezuelan citizens were killed, HRW has not said anything about these victims .

We are marching for the human rights of the victims of the extreme right wing in Venezuela funded by the US State Department.

We march to honor the legacy of Hugo Chavez Frias.
We march in solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution and democratically elected President Nicolas Maduro.
We march to oppose U.S. intervention in Venezuela.
